Air Niugini is proud to introduce our new upgrade program that gives you an opportunity to submit a bid for your chance to fly in business!

Why am I being offered an upgrade?

From time to time, we have unsold seats in our Business Class cabin. Instead of flying them empty, we offer invited passengers booked in Economy cabin the opportunity to make us an offer to upgrade to that Business Class seat. If you see an invitation to request an upgrade, your booking has one or more flights that are eligible to participate.

  • Retrieve your booking in Manage A Booking and look for the PX PLUS Banner.
  • After completing a booking on www.airniugini.com.pg , you may see an offer to upgrade.
What’s involved?
  1. Opportunity to Bid

After booking your Economy Class ticket, you may be invited to bid for an upgrade to Business Class. If eligible, you will receive an email seven (7) days before your flight inviting you to place a bid.

  1. Make an Upgrade offer to Business class.

You can place your bid and submit your credit card details to us. Select how much money, per person, you wish to offer to be upgraded per flight. You credit card is only charged if you offer is accepted.

  1. Offer Acceptance

You will receive email notification between 48 and 24 hours before departure if your bid is successful..
